Matches
Open roles ranked against the Arc: search, filters, saving and applying.
Matches ranks open roles against the Arc. The job targets on the Record choose the tracks, level, regions and sponsorship need, and the rest of the Record decides the order.
How matches are ranked
Only roles in the target tracks appear, and only roles open to an early-career candidate. A role that rules out the candidate, such as one with no visa sponsorship for someone who needs it, stays off the list. Each row shows the title, the company, the place, the pay when the posting lists it, and how long ago it was posted.
Editing the job targets on the Record reranks the list. Search matches the role title and the company.
Filters
Level offers Internship, New grad and All levels. Work offers Remote and On-site. Track appears when the Arc has two target tracks. Filters change the list only and leave the Arc as it is.
Saving and applying
Dismiss takes a role off the list, with Undo on the message. Clicking a row opens the job page.
Sponsorship labels
The right side of a row can carry a sponsorship label. Sponsors visas means the posting says it sponsors. Likely sponsors means the company has a record of H-1B filings for this kind of role. No sponsorship means the posting rules it out.
When the list is empty
With no target track on the Arc, Matches reads Matches need a target track and links to the Arc. The first ranking after a change takes a moment and shows a status line while it runs. A search or filter with no results says so, and clearing it brings the full list back.
